Arden Entertainment is a theatre production and general management company based in the West End.

Working closely with writers, directors and producers from the early stages of production, we provide a bespoke service for each of our clients.

From script development and creative advice to budgeting and booking, our industry expertise and extensive network of contacts ensures delivery of a first class production.

Founded in 2006 by producer Douglas McJannet, Arden Entertainment has worked on high-profile UK West End and touring shows including Dirty Dancing, Bad Girls, Guys & Dolls and Never Forget.

From 2008 – 2013, Arden provided consultancy services and general management of the incredible Old Vic Tunnels in association with Kevin Spacey.

For Big Broad Productions projects including Bad Girls: The Musical (Garrick Theatre); The Speed Twins (Riverside Studios); The Realness (Hackney Downs Studios) and Crush ( National Tour, co-production with Belgrade Theatre Coventry).

Co-productions with Sally Humphreys Productions include Hidden In The Sand; Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus – Live; Guess How Much I Love You – Live; and Mike ‘McGear’ McCartney’s Sex, Drugs & Rock ‘N’ Roll (I Wish!)

Other projects include Claire Rayner – Now With Wings; Barking In Essex; and Sovremennik’s Into the Whirlwind, in association with Roman Abramovich, for the 2011 West End Russian Season, All or Nothing – The Mod Musical ( London and UK Tour)

2016 brought the 20 week UK Tour of Jackie The Musical by Mike James, directed by Anna Linstrum and choreographed by Arlene Phillips, starring Nick Bailey, Graham Bickley and Janet Dibley, in association with DC Thomson.

Sally Wood – Producer

Sally is a Patron of The Ben Kinsella Trust, and an Ambassador for London’s Roundhouse Theatre.

In March 2015 she chaired the Roundhouse Gala Auction, raising £1 million to help over 3,000 young people realise their creative potential through various projects in music, media and performing arts.

Productions include ‘Hidden in the Sand’ starring Sally Dexter at Trafalgar Studios; ‘Touched Like A Virgin’ starring Sadie Frost at Soho Theatre; ‘Third Floor’ starring Craig Gazey (Coronation Street) and Emily Head (The Inbetweeners) at Trafalgar Studios; ‘Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus’ UK tour, Edinburgh Festival & Dubai; ‘The Moon is Halfway to Heaven’ at Jermyn St Theatre; ‘Guess How Much I Love You’ UK tour, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, South Korea, Belgium, Holland; ‘CBeebies Little Charley Bear’ at Ambassadors Theatre; ‘Lone Star & Private Wars’ starring Shane Richie, ‘Days of Hope’ (both at Kings Head); ‘The Rubenstein Kiss’ starring Samantha Bond and Gary Kemp at Hampstead Theatre (winner – TMA Best New Play Award and The John Whiting Award).

Sally also produced ‘Live at the Ambassadors’, a variety of concerts featuring acts such as Paul McCartney, Charlie Watts, Mick Hucknall, Kelly Jones (Stereophonics), Beverley Knight, James McCartney, Bill Wyman, Mica Paris & more.

Sam Julyan – Producer

Most recently Sam produced the World Premiere of Arthur Miller’s first play, NO VILLAIN, which debuted at the Old Red Lion in December 2015, and transferred to the West End in June 2016. Sam is a director of Covent Garden Productions Ltd, a new production company dedicated to created a commercial life for new work. Recent Credits with Covent Garden Productions include: JACKIE THE MUSICAL (UK Tour), GOOSEBUMPS ALIVE/GOOSEBUMPS KIDS (The Vaults) and 4000 DAYS (Park Theatre).

Sam is currently developing works including a premiere of a new musical version of LORD OF THE FLIES directed by Adrian Noble, and a new musical penned by Michael Feinstein. Selected previous credits include: POLITRIX (Hackney Downs Studios), THE REALNESS (Hackney Downs Studios), The UK Premiere of Noel Coward’s THIS WAS A MAN (Finborough Theatre), AENIED: THE JOURNEY (Oxford Playhouse), LITTLE WOMEN: THE MUSICAL (Off-West-End Award* Nomination for Best New Musical), LA CHUNGA (Church Street Theatre/West End).

Sam also works as a General Manager for Arden Entertainment, currently managing the London production and UK Tour of ALL OR NOTHING, a musical about the life and music of mod band, THE SMALL FACES.

Paul Casey – Associate Producer

Paul relocated from Australia to London to pursue his passion for commercial theatre. He was Executive Producer of one of Melbourne’s most respected independent theatres, fortyfivedownstairs, where he produced the Australian Premiere of Dreamers by Daniel Keene, CANZONE – Music as Storytelling for the Melbourne International Arts Festival, the World Premiere of Young & Jackson with internationally renowned director Wayne Harrison, and the sell-out World Premiere of Taxithi – An Australian Odyssey. In London he has worked on All or Nothing the Mod Musical (London and National Tour), Jackie the Musical (National Tour) and Howard Brenton’s Magnificence. Paul also has an extensive business management career having worked for many of Australia’s leading commercial organisations.

Geraint Humphreys – Associate Producer

Marketing and Online (Web, Digital and Social Media) for productions including Bomber’s Moon, Crush, Jackie The Musical, the Roundhouse Gala 2015 and Opera Holland Park’s upcoming tour of Alice’s Adventures In Wonderland.
